Catherine Murrell Obituary

Catherine "Kaye" Murrell (nee La Rose‚), age 83, found peace March 21, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Bob J. Murrell; loving mother of Greg Murrell and Cheryl Murrell; honored grandmother of John Paul and Robert; dear sister of Albert (Georgie) La Rose‚ , Jack (Ann) LaRose‚ and Jeanette (Eddie) Fitzgibbon; fond aunt of many nephews. Kaye was a dedicated supporter of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital serving on the Board of Governors; she was a former member of the Hospital Board of Trustees, Past President of the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild and 35 year volunteer and cardiac floor aide. Kaye designed the "Heart Pillow" which is used to heal cardiac patients. During the 1950's, she was a Flight Attendant for American Airlines. Visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N.
