Carolyn Elizabeth Cavanagh, 75, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Cavanagh, born in Green Bay, Wis., was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fanatic. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was also an amateur radio operator. Mrs. Cavanagh enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, John F. Cavanagh; her sons, Kevin Cavanagh (Leslie), Alan Cavanagh (Ellen) and Nathan Cavanagh (Amy); three grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel and Angus Cavanagh; five brothers; and five sisters.
A Mass of celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, at Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
