Carol Weimer Obituary

Carol L. Weimer, age 93, of Wheaton formerly a 56 year resident of West Chicago, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009. She was born on April 11, 1916 in Chicago, IL to Adolph & Carol Minster. Carol worked for many years in the bookkeeping department at DuPage National Bank & volunteered at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton and the West Chicago library. She enjoyed reading and painting. She is survived by her children Michael (Carol) Weimer of St. Charles and Susan (Steve) Dickens of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Steve & Kate Weimer of St. Charles; Andrea (Stan) Vick of Austin, TX, Lindsay & Mark Dickens of Austin, TX; two great-grandchildren, Logan & Avery Vick of Austin, TX; and two sister-in-laws; Beatrice Hunter of La Fox & Rosemary Welter of Glen Ellyn. She is preceded in death by her husband George of 57 years in 2002. Visitation Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago and proceed St. Mary's Church in West Chicago for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery.
