Carol DeMuro along with Nancy Sullivan were teachers responsible for my fondest high school memories. Though I was a pitiful example of the fruits of her French lessons and only passed through her merciful grading hand by a thread, her example as woman of elegance, education and wit during a developmentally awkward time in my life did bear much fruit. Year in and out, Mrs. DeMuro touched many like me and I hope this testimony comforts you a little as you grieve the loss of her company.
