Words cannot express the sympathy I feel for your family. My son was one of your son’s roommates at Great Lakes and in boot camp with your son as well. He said Meeker was a really nice guy. Please know you and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of many Navy families at navyformoms.com. There is a group of moms, and a few dads who were in Class 276 with your son. I pray you find comfort in the Lord at this most difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Calvin and his family. He was a constant fixture in our lives growing up, and felt like another one of our sons in our home. We will always remember his warm heart, laughter and gentle spirit. We are sure he is playing with his GI Joes in Heaven.
