Burdell Boedeker Obituary

Burdell W. Boedeker, 84, of Wheatland, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at Davenport Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland. The Rev. Laird Keever will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wheatland. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Memorials may be made to Davenport Lutheran Home or Alzheimer's Association.
She was born March 29, 1921, in Lowden, Iowa, to Henry Freese and Sophia (Becker) Freese. She married Paul Boedeker on Dec. 12, 1940, in Lowden. He died in 1973.
Burdell had worked at Mac's Triangle Supper Club in Wheatland for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
Survivors include Orville (Janet) Boedeker, Owen (Judy) Boedeker, of Wheatland, Lavern (Joyce) Boedeker, Larry (Sharon) Boedeker, of Calamus, Luanna Holdorf, of Davenport, Lucille (Tom) Oseland, of Bettendorf, and Orland Boedeker, of Toronto, Iowa; 18 grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, mother, father and stepmother.
