Dear Hayes family, We only just learned of and were so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. We have lived two doors down from him for the past 8 years. He was the first neighbor we met after we moved into our home and we have enjoyed countless neighborly chats over the fence line over the years. He was truly a wonderful, generous and giving man. Always the first to offer a helping hand. I can't even count the number of times he would clear the snow from the sidewalk from his home to ours. We will always remember with fondness and the memory of him and his trustee sidekick Buster.
Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Brian. I did his taxes for the last ten years and he was always a joy to see. He always gave me crap, told me what was going on in his life and just a super nice guy. I will miss him. Maureen

Jeff and the Hayes family; I am very sorry for this great loss and wish you great comfort.
All I can do is share my Magical moment with all of you > to let you know that because of Brian, heart-racing happiness was brought to one young girl, one summer day so long ago. Brian was my first kiss. We were at East End Pool. I became lost in his sea-of-blue eyes. We dove under water together and we kissed for a lifetime; as if we never needed air. It was truly the most magical event in my life and no kiss, still to this day, has ever compared.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Brian, he always sported a perpetual smile. I'll always remember him reffing our Hockey games at the YMCA as a teen. R.I.P. Brian.
