Brian, a pretty darn good competitive swimmer, was also a truly fearsome artist with a slightly damp rat tail towel in the Sunset Pool locker room. He was also an important member of the final canonball line up that was thrown out of the pool at closing time.

With fond remembrance,

Larry Sweeney

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you making the phone call in 2005 to SAY THE WORDS. Rest in Peace, my friend. I love you

I've known Brian since 2004 when he and I became neighbors. Over time, our friendship grew.
He was a true friend; one who gave without being asked; who was firm in his beliefs but always ready to listen; who offered advice sparingly, but a hand up with ultimate largesse. He was funny, loved to eat ("Daddy Burgers"), loved vintage films; a good joke, and traveling.
He was a wonderful, larger than life man.
He was, and will remain, my friend.

Brian and I connected quite well over the years since we became family. Witty, educated, outspoken....I'll miss you, Brian.

Brian will be missed by many. He was a tremendous Grandfather to my kids, and mentor to me. I was honored that he was a part of my life, and that he considered me his son.
