Hello, this is Bonnie's youngest son Mark. I am really appreciative of everyone who has commented and shared memories of Bonnie. It really does mean a lot to us.

One thing that I can say in reflecting on my Mom's life is that 'God gave Bonnie a little extra' as a single mother she relied on the kindness of others. This kindness she repaid with lifelong friendship, quick wit, and being present with whomever she spent time with. Her faith guided her through her life as she cared for others, encouraged strength, and that everything would always be all right. Her grace is alive in the people she has known and who has cared for her. I am very grateful to everyone who has known her.

If you were unable to come to the memorial, I have a tribute slideshow which celebrates my Mom's life. Please email me if you would like the link as it is a private video: [email protected]

Thank you to all and god bless you for being a part of Bonnie's life.

My Mom Theresa and Bonnie were friends since gradeschool from St Alphonsus. This is so sad but I'm happy my Mom talked to Bonnie two months ago Before she passed from cancer. I know Bonnie had her own struggles. My brothers Billy Jimmy and I have great memories visiting DG, Billy said He saw his first wild rabbit in bonnie and Frank's backtard us city kids hardly ever saw that. Jeff, Ron and Mark, your Mom was remarkable, honest And a wonderful woman, she loved you kids and her grandchildren, so take comfort in that. I'm so glad I got to tell your mom how much I loved her. Bonnie was one of my dearest friends at midwestern university. She was so kind and had a hard boiled sense of humor that made her priceless. I´m glad to have been her friend. Tom Reutze
