BETTY ANNE KOMOROWSKI Betty Anne Komorowski, age 82, of Pasadena, California, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Born March 16, 1931 in Humboldt, Nebraska to the late parents, Lester F. and Lula Blanche (nee Gibbs) Parli Thill. Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Komorowski, Jr. wedded for 56 years. Cherished mother of Kathy (Edward) Miksys of Westmont, and Vicky (Keith) Olsen of Lisle. Dearest grandmother of Denise Giannosa, Stacia, Matthew and Christie Miksys. Betty grew up in Nebraska, and graduated from Dawson High School, Dawson, Nebraska. She later moved to Illinois and met her future husband, Walter at Illinois Bell Telephone Company, where both had worked. Betty and Walt had moved to different parts of the country, including, Long Branch, New Jersey, Downers Grove, Illinois, Lisle, Illinois and Pasadena, California. Betty spent much of her time raising her family, being involved in area churches and elementary schools. Betty was an accomplished singer. Her loving manner and angelic voice will be missed.
