Beatrice MINOR Obituary

MINOR, Beatrice (Trixie) Elizabeth It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice on July 25, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her 92nd year, at Sweet May Retirement Home, in Stayner, Ontario. Trixie was the beloved wife of the late Norman Minor; loving mother of Alan Minor of Mississauga and Rob Minor of Wasaga Beach; beloved grandmother of Tyler, Dylan, and Connor Minor of Collingwood. Cousin Joyce Bridge and nieces and nephews fondly remember her. Trixie is predeceased by brothers Patrick Murfin and Gerald Murfin. Trixie was formerly employed as head administrator at the Works Department in the Town of Wasaga Beach. She and Norm were long time residents of Wasaga Beach and loved living in the Georgian Triangle area. Both enjoyed a quiet retirement in Stayner. Our family sincerely thanks Dana, Lori, Shelby and all staff of Sweet May Retirement Home, for their excellent care and compassion in making Beatrice comfortable throughout her final days. Also, a warm thank you to Dr. Lane who Trixie always enjoyed her visits and shared a good laugh, and a thank you to the nurses of St. Elizabeth. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at: 7011 Hwy 26 East, Stayner, from 1:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. All who knew Beatrice are welcome to join us and share your memories.
