Barbara was the best friend anyone could ask for. We worked together beginning in the early 70s and remained friends throughout the years. Our birthdays were three days apart and we celebrated together for many years even after we both stopped working. She was a good listener and a true confidant. I'm sorry I was not in town to personally express my condolences to the family. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Barbara was the best!

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Barbara. She was truly a formidable woman--upbeat, creative and caring. She will remain an inspiration of what grace and vitality could offer in our sunset years.

I am sad to see of Aunt Barbara's passing - she was a wonderful person and a class act! She helped me a great deal through a difficult time in my life and I will never forget that! Condolences to Mom and Aunt Mildred, as well as the boys from me and Becky.

I will miss my Aunt Barbara very much. She inspired me to never think I am too old to do anything. She showed me that if you keep active you will enjoy life. And at age 80, you can still teach computer skills to the "elderly". Thank you Barb for showing me how to never stop living, no matter how old you are. I will miss your quick wit and zest for life. And more than that, I will miss you!

My deepest condolences on your loss. Barbara was a magnificient person. She always had a positive attitude, was active and generous in the community and kind to everyone. I loved her sense of humor. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren, and devoted to her sons. Most of all, she was a devoted friend to my mother, Rhoda, who will miss her more than I can describe.
