Barbara Clemmons Obituary
Barbara M. Clemmons, 91, born and raised in Chicago and lived in Lockport for many years before becoming a resident of Downers Grove. Retired 33 year employee for the State of Illinois Industrial Commission.
Barbara loved crossword puzzles, reading, texting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Clemmons; son, Mark A. Clemmons; parents, Adam and Yadwiga Godlanski; sister, Dorothy Bowen; daughter-in-law, Susan Clemmons
Survived by her children, Karen (late Gary) Ulman, Ralph (Jeannine) Clemmons and Deborah (James) Weaver; daughter-in-law, Donna Clemmons; grandchildren, Craig (Caryn) Bridges, Jamie (Alyssa) Clemmons, Scott (Tracy Braglia) Clemmons, Andrew (Nicki Olson) Clemmons, Claire (Justin Matkovich) Drews, Jane (Casey Stuth) Drews, Ashley and Nicholas Clemmons; great-grandchildren, Faith and Luke Bridges, Jailee and Teegan Clemmons, Colin Keener, Kingston and Brooklyn Clemmons and Gunner Charles Clemmons; many nieces and nephews.
