Barbara Bachman Obituary

Barbara L. Bachman of St. Charles, age 75, died June 19th at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James A. Bachman; children, David (Michelle) of Bridgewater, NJ, Susan Riffer (Rick) of Elk Grove Village, IL, Carolyn Wolff (Kevin) of Cedar Falls, IA; grandchildren, Nicole and Timothy Bachman, Kathryn and Peter Wolff; brother, William H. Lehnert, Jr. (Marcia) of Wilmington, DE; niece, Kristin (Patrick) Huff of Wilmington, DE; and nephew, Jeffrey (Kerri) Lehnert of Dover, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth M. and William H. Lehnert, Sr. Barbara was born in Trenton, NJ on October 9, 1935 and resided in St. Charles, IL since 1966. She was a member of St. Charles Episcopal Church, a devoted member of the church choir and former President of the Altar Guild. She was a volunteer for the Delnor Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She was also a member of the Illinois Fox Valley Embroiders Guild, Illini Needlepoint Guild, and the Thursday Stitching Divas, who were very special to her. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 2, 2011 at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Avenue, St. Charles, IL, where visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
