Arthur Severus Obituary
Arthur Severus, age 95, lifetime resident of Downers Grove, died peacefully surrounded by his family.
Arthur was born July 24, 1919, in Downers Grove to Arthur Lewis and Stella Irene Severus. Married to the late Martha "Mickey" Severus; preceded in death by his son Byron Severus. Arthur served in the Army during WWII with the 7th Armored Division.
Arthur is survived his daughter, Thelma (Francis) Soresi; his seven grandchildren, 17 great and one great-grandchild and another one on the way.
Visitation Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. S. of Ogden) Downers Grove. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, www.supportveterans.org
