Arthur Cone Obituary

Arthur Edward Cone III, age 48, passed away (melanoma on November 18, 2008 at his home in Prairie du Sac, WI). He was born on April 26, 1960 in Toledo, OH to James and Mary Cone. He graduated from Glenbard West High School and the University of Wisconsin Stout in Menomonie in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He was the Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Culver's Franchising System, Inc. Family and friends were touched by the message (usually reserved for the custard flavor of the day) on the marquee of the original Culver's on Route 12 which read, "Forever in our hearts, Arthur Cone." He was married to Brenda (Boz). Art was very involved with the Wisconsin Youth Wrestling Program and the Sauk-Prairie Youth Football among many other organizations. Art will be missed by his wife Brenda; two children, Ashley (16) and Ryan (14) of Prairie du Sac; his mother, Mary of Wheaton, IL; his sister, Jenny (Robert Tad) of Scottsdale, AZ; his brothers, Jeffery (Jeanne) of Oak Park, IL and James (Elly) of Paradise Island, Bahamas; he is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Art was preceded in death by his father, James. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial followed in the Sauk City Cemetery.
