Arliss Fuhrmark Cox, age 94, of Geneva passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, August 8, 2015.
She was born October 31, 1920, in Hammond, Indiana the daughter of Arthur and Vada (LeVan) Fuhrmark.
She is survived by her children, Emerson A. (Stephanie Grace) Cox and Carol A. (Henry Joseph) Harvell. Two grandsons, Christopher Charles Cox and Wyatt Emerson Harvell; as well as family member, Pamela Thorncroft; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Arliss was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson N. Cox on June 29, 2007.
Arliss requested that her caregivers Amy, Melissa, Ann and Blanca from Right at Home owned by Kathy Wetters in Batavia be acknowledged and thanked for giving her much needed comfort and care in her last days, as well as the caring neighbors and friends who reached out to her with their love and caring.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements handled by the Malone Funeral Home in Geneva.

Sending much love to Chip, Stephanie and Carol from myself and my husband David, in Portugal. We have never met, but know how sad it is to lose such a close loved one such as your mother. God bless you all, including Mrs Cox too. I am sure she is already one of the blessed. XXXX

I never really knew Arliss, except through her son Chip and my daughter, her daughter-in-law, Stephanie. I do believe she was a wonderful woman who will be missed by Steph, Chip, Carol and so many others. Wish we could have been closer. My sincere condolences to all.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I'm sure she and Emerson are are delighted to be together again. They were special people and I'm proud to have known them and considered to be their friend. I think of both of them often. I am so sorry for your loss.

Miss her so much already. We would email back and forth to keep in touch. I felt like she worried about me like I was one of her kids!!! Just like my mom... Loved talking to her when I would be at Pam's visiting. I will forever continue to think of her on her birthday. We enjoyed sharing birthdays so close together.
