Arlene Carpenter Obituary

CARPENTER, ARLENE M. Arlene passed away January 11, 2004, after a short illness. Beloved wife and partner for 47 years of Robert J. Carpenter of Beaverton, Oregon. She has joined her parents, beloved daughter, Cathy, and Son, Glen, in a better place. She is survived by three siblings, Edward, Marlene, and Larry; three children, Gary, Marla, and Robin; her nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. The greatest part of Arlene's life was dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren. The greatest joys in her life consisted of loving, providing for, and nuturing her family. No wife and mother did more, nor will be missed more than she is. Remember her as she lived; with determination, love and compassion for the rest of us. We who knew and loved her, do not ask for sympathy or pity. We are grateful for the time she shared with us. We know that the hole in our hearts her parting has left, one day in a better place, will be filed in again. Arrangements entrusted to Finley's Sunset Hills, 503-292-6654.
