At age 27 she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of LaGrange on September 8, 1939 and received the habit and name of Sister Antonia on August 15, 1940. Her 1st vows were made August 15, 1942, and final vows August 15, 1945. Sister Antonia continued her own education and received a degree in English at DePaul University in Chicago. Later, after a few years of tutoring at Alexine Learning Center, St., Antonia continued her ministry in Support Services to the Christian Life Center Staff and Bethlehem Center Library. Sister's next years were spent in the Ministry of Prayer for the CSJ Community, as well as Church and world needs. In her final years she continued her Ministry of Prayer at Resurrection Life Center where she resided until her death. Sister Antonia will always be remembered for her happy, cheerful spirit. Her humble unassuming manner reflected her deep love of God and the people in her life. She was an inspiration to many from her pupils in the classroom to her companion Sisters and so many others in her life.
