Please accept my sincerest and heartfelt condolences. Mr. Pinter (Tony), was one of the most kind and generous individuals' I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with during his tenure as a member of the Naval Station Great Lakes Family Housing Department. A wonderful and brilliant man, which Tony happen to have been, will most assuredly be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that all of you and Tony are in my thoughts and prayers. I worked with Tony at the Great Lakes Housing Office and fondly remember what a wonderful man he was. Tony was dedicated to his work and always went above and beyond in whatever the task was ensuring the accuracy of his work. He was truly one-of-a-kind and a good and gentle man.

How can I find the words... I am so sorry... It is Sunday the 7th of February. I heard Tony passed on Friday but could not find any information until today. I am so upset. Tony worked with me at Great Lakes. I don't want to say I was his boss. I never felt I could be his boss because he was my elder and he had so much knowledge in construction and architecture. We worked as a team. Tony brought so much joy to my life and everyone around him. He was quite the character. Tony helped improve the quality of life for our military families by his design reviews, inspection, knowledge, creativity and personally caring for our military families. Tony would not let the rain, sleet, snow, mud, flooding, anything stop him from getting the job done well into his 80's. He would get on ladders, crawl in holes, go in attics, do whatever it took to get the information he needed to do his job beyond anyone's expectations. What can I say... I loved him and I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to his family and my prayers are with them all. Gary
