Kevin,
My deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences go out to you and your family during this time of sadness.
Losing your father is tough and I'm sure you have many great memories to cherish. I'm sorry that I was unable to make it to the funeral especially since you sacrificed your time last year to attend my father's ceremony.
God Bless,
Cousin Patrick

Dear Gladys and family,
My heart was filled with sadness as I read of Tony's passing. Just recently the memories of working at the pharmacy had been on my mind.
Knowing and working with Tony and Hank at McGrath Pharmacy (on Blue Ridge) during my high school years ('64-'68) was one of the great experiences of my young life. Tony was the kindest gentleman to work for and with. He made work fun and yet I learned so much working in that environment. Even during summer breaks of college, Tony would find a place for me to work. He was a true mentor and encourager. My prayers are with you all during this time.
Most Sincerely,
Cathy Faron Crowell

McGrath family, I was very sad to read about Tony's passing. He was such a wonderful father, husband and business owner. I worked at KC Drugs for many years and Tony and Francis were very good to me and everyone that worked there. They made you feel a part of their family and that was an honor. My father died when I was finishing high school and Tony gave me a wonderful place to learn and grow as I worked through my high school and college years before becoming a teacher. I remember asking for time off for my student teaching and Tony responded I could do whatever I needed to do, they would make it work. He inspired so many people through his compassion for others and his intellect in the field of pharmacy. I know he was a wonderful inspiration to Harold Shy and Hal, his son in law. I worked under both during my tenure at KC Drugs. He will be missed. I hope his family can find comfort in the countless memories that such a nice, gentle and wonderful man leaves behind. My best to you all.

What a wonderful celebration of life! I remember, from the time that I was 11 years old and we moved to south KC, going to McGrath Pharmacy and expecting to see Tony. All the love and involvement that you both have had at St. Catherine's leaves a lasting and beautiful legacy. I will always remember Tony's smile and the hug that I got every time that I saw him. My prayers are with you, Gladys, in this time of great change for you. I love you!
