I called Tony my uncle but not because of an actual birth relation but because he and Joy, my auntie, helped to raise me and take care of me when my parents went to work when I was a little one. For my entire life, the best meals in my life were at the Lapano household, especially on Christmas Eve with the seven fishes. Joy and Tony are the best friends my parents could have ever wished for. My heart is with all of the family during the health challenges of today. I love this beautiful family.

Joy,
He was a great guy and will be remembered with love by his friends in Pine Hollow. We had such fun with him on the cruise and on the trip to Cancun!!

Dear Joy and Family: Gunter and I are so sorry for all that you have been through and for losing Tony. He was like a father to me when I was young and was always a great source of hugs and good food! We will miss him and know that all of you take some strength in knowing that he knew he was loved and that he and Joy created a beautiful family. He was also a very talented man, having built a home from the ground up and for being a car mentor to my brother Jack. And, not to be missed was your Christmas Eve dinners!!! Nobody put on a feast like Joy and Tony. So many great memories and a life well lived. Love to all of you and I hope you find peace.
