Aunt Anne was always kind and great with her stories of life in McCook when she was young. Years later as an adult, she welcomed me into her home, sort of recognizing who I "might" be (since I look so much like my dad) and immediately offered me something to eat. I declined, but remember how typically Croatian of her that was. It took me back to visiting her as a child. She will be missed.
