Ann Vaughn Obituary

Ann Marie Spoon Vaughn, age 42, of Woodbridge passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006. She was born Aug. 9, 1963, in Fairfax. Her mother, Mary Jo Spoon, preceded her in death. Survivors are the love of her life, long-time companion, friend and confidant, Raymond C. Maxwell of Woodbridge; sons, AJ Vaughn III (Ashley) of Tennessee, and David Lethcoe (Brenda) of Florida; her father, Dewey L. Spoon of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Heaven Leigh Star Vaughn and AJ Vaughn IV; sisters, Diann Seigele (Bill) of Arkansas, Sharon Nix (Roger) of Alabama and Debbie Spoon of Virginia; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a seven-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7916, Occoquan. The family would like to thank Ann Marie's dedicated support system; her awesome friends at VFW Post 7916, Occoquan, her niece Marcia Cumbie, and Community Hospice who not only took care of her physical needs but also embraced her with love and laughter. A memorial service will be held at the VFW Post 7916 in Occoquan on Saturday, March 4, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation, P.O.
