Ann Schroeter Obituary

Ann Schroeter, 106, of West Chicago died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Bethany Health Care and Rehab Center in Dekalb. She was born Feb. 16, 1903 in Austria. The daughter of Joseph and Frances Voigt. She is survived by one son, Sonny (Jo Allene) Schroeter of Sycamore; 3 grandsons, Jeffrey (Laura) Branit, William (Debbie) Branit and James (Ting Ting) Branit; 3 great granddaughters, Nicole, Sarah and Hannah ; and one sister, Gertrude Benzinger of Dekalb. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Marie Branit; one grandson, Thomas; 3 sisters, Marie Frantz and two in infancy; and one brother, Bill Voigt. A Visitation will be on Saturday, April 25 from Noon until 4:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 Dekalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178. For info 815-895-2833. Dear Sonny and family,
Ann was a dear dear lady. Grandma (Mary Marshall)truely enjoyed her friendship. She was a wonderful roommate. My family enjoyed Ann very much too. Ann will be missed. She was such a blessing to this world.
