Maybe you remember you trip to Ravenna, Ne. when you were all young and met with my Mother and my family......Your Grandma Mime and my Mom had kept touch for years through their letters.
In relationship ,the late Ann Norris was a cousin of mine. And now Ann B. keeps in touch. Know we care and your family has been in our prayers.......If you are ever across Nebraska, feel welcome to stop by.

My prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I know you all loved Ann and will miss her, always remember the good times and know that she will always be in your heart. I remember her at Jackson's party and saw what a classy lady she was and how much she loved you all.
You have a special angel now keeping watch over you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just wanted you to know what Mrs. Reid meant to me. I was one of her students in Westmont during the 60’s and 70’s actually every Friday during the school year until I graduated 8th grade. I had a severe speech impediment due to having a cleft lip & palate. What Mrs. Reid did for me was make me what I am today. If it was not for her I would never have been able to become a 9-1-1 police/fire dispatcher. I don’t think anyone would have dreamt that I could have ever gone into a career that I would need to speak properly at all times. I know that was never the goal, it was just to get me to develop a speech pattern that was understandable. Mrs. Reid was an amazing woman and will be missed.

Dear Reid Family: I remember your mother best from 1968 at South School in Westmont. She taught me how to talk properly, as I had a problem with L's. I can still remember that smile and how she treated this 6 year old goofball as an adult, something nobody had done to me at that point in time. Later we moved to DG and got to know the 4 good souls she and Mr. Reid raised. That charcoal grey house will always be "the Reid house" to me. I'll think of her every time I say words like lollipop and Lulu. The world is a better place because of her-Bless her soul.

I extend my sympathies on the passing of Mrs. Reid. I just happened to read of her passing in the Chicago Tribune today. As I read the article, I realized that her husband was my United States history at Kankakee High School during the 1962-63 school year. He was a wonderful man and a great teacher. During my difficult teenage years, he served as a model of patience and kindness. He was one of the reasons I entered became a teacher. I have thought of him many times over the past 45 years.
May God bless your wonderful family in your time of sadness.

Ann was a classy lady. I worked with her years ago. She told us all about her children of whom she was so proud of. When I retired a bouquet of flowers came from Ann. She was truly a special lady and friend.
