Phil/Lynn & Stan/Marge,I received the news of the passing of your mom and I am so sorry.Glenn and I and our children , now grown and married have many fond memories of all the years that we enjoyed Angie's company. Dustin and Devinne LOVED to visit and help with planting flowers, making her famous pineapple upside down cakes, or just enjoying some quiet moments.The kids will never forget Angie allowing them to each dig up a hosta plant from the backyard and bring it home to plant....those hosta's still grow in our yard. I was delighted when she allowed me to talk her into getting Baxter, and fill that personal void! Angie was the highlight of my day for the 15+ years we worked together at Bard. I loved sending her tulips on her February birthday, to 'begin' the spring, her favorite time of year!! Our 'girls club' of Angie,Georgia,Leah and myself, that got together for our dinner and Drury Lane 'dates' were the most precious of times! I loved to pick her up and just run around doing little errands!We always ended the run with a trip to Brown's Chicken-she loved that! In recent years I regret that I wasn't able to visit her to talk about ol' times. I was tending to Dustin's Iraq injuries, Glenn's sudden health issues and eventual permanent disability, and arrival of my own 2 grandchildren. The Fritschel family, wasn't physically present but Angie was ALWAYS in our prayers. Her Christian ethic that she shared with me, I hope can be a comfort to your family as you go through these difficult times. Thank you for sharing Angie with the Fritschel's, our memories are PRICELESS!
