Andrzej Cieslinski, 71, of Middlebury, formerly of Lemont, IL passed away while surrounded by his family at 5:27 am on Wednesday, March 4, at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1948 in Stadniki, Poland to Antoni and Leontina (Nowak) Cieslinski.
On May 10, 1975 in Chicago he married Stella Franczyk, she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are son, John (Siri) Cieslinski of Maui, HI; daughter, Theresa (Joseph) Parobek of Crown Point; two grandsons, Andrew Joseph Parobek and Alexander William Parobek; four sisters, Teresa, Mary, Diane, Barbara.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Zofia.
Andrzej and his wife were self-employed. He was a parishioner at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish in Lemont, IL and was currently attending St. Mary of The Annunciation Catholic Church, Bristol. He loved to cook and also enjoyed gardening.
He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Thursday March 5, at St. Mary of The Annunciation Catholic Church, Bristol. A Funeral Mass will follow visitation at 7:00 pm on Thursday also at the church. Services will be conducted by Father Robert Van Kempen. Burial will be in Ostrozany Cemetery, Poland. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be offered at millerstewartfuneralhome.com.
