Although I only recently learned of Mr. Bossieux's passing in 2025, his impact on my life as a student at Morton West High School was truly transformative. He not only introduced me to the world of philosophy but also recognized a potential in me that I had yet to discover. I am certain that many others were equally inspired by his guidance and belief in their unseen abilities. -- John David Balla, Morton West High School Class of 1978

Mr. Bossieux was my absolute favorite teacher at Morton West..I remember so much of what he taught me all those years ago. I always wondered where he was and how he was doing. Interesting that I live in Downers Grove now for the past 37 years. I would have loved to see that man again. I am sure he made an indelible impression on so many of his students. He was a brilliant man of great refinement and a one-of-a-kind teacher.
