Andrew Bochnovic Obituary

Andrew Bochnovic, 84, of Indian Head Park, formerly of Western Springs died July 12th at Autumn Leaves in Orland Park after a long illness. Born December 5th, 1925 in a small village in Slovakia, Mr. Bochnovic was a World War II and Korean War veteran of the United States Navy. After graduating from Rutgers University, Mr. Bochnovic worked for Prudential Insurance for 30 years. He served as President of the Leisure Men's Club, The Western Springs Village Club, was active at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and an avid Bridge player. Andy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Florence and children; David and wife Janice (Durham, NC), Peter and wife Mary (Aurora, IL), Barbara and husband Bill (Eugene, OR), Alice and husband Willy (Burbank, CA), Daniel and wife Tina (LaGrange, IL) and Anne Marie (Chicago, IL) Poppa to Andrew, Kiel, Clayton, Marissa, James, Ian, Michael and Ellwood. A private ceremony celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
