Amy Strubing Obituary
Celebrating the life of Amy Virginia Strubing (nee Mattson) who went to be with her Lord on February 17th, 2017 at the age of 98.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Robert William Strubing.
Amy is lovingly remembered by her five children and their spouses; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Amy lived a long, faith-filled life in which not one day was taken for granted. She spent her years raising her family, dedicating herself to the Lord, working at Illinois Bell, traveling the country with her husband and making countless memories with her friends and family. Once Amy wrote that she was, "Sweet as Summer, Yet with all the zest of Spring" and that is exactly how her friends and family will remember her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4th at Lack & Sons Funeral Home 9236 S. Roberts Rd. Hickory Hills, IL. Visitation 9:00am, service at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made to Bible Related Ministries P.O. Box 272 Hinsdale, IL 60522
