Allen Randall "Randy" Thingvold, passed away suddenly at his home in Porterville, CA. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia Pitkin, MD; daughter, Dawn Coggins; grandson, Ethan Coggins; sister, Lynne Thingvold; brother, Jon; nephew, Marc and niece Clarissa.
Randy had fond memories of his years growing up in Downers Grove. He was a star basketball player at Downers Grove North High before subsequently moving to California.
In lieu of flowers, a note about your fondest memories of Randy may be sent to Patricia Pitkin, c/o Trinity Lutheran Church, 764 W. Henderson Ave., Porterville, CA 93257.
