What a wonderful woman Alice Bowes was for the entire neighborhood. She always had a smile on her face and was glad to listen to you. There was a jar of peanut butter and fluff available if you were hungry. She never seemed to mind the constant stream of kids through the house and backyard. She was a mom to everyone.
I appreciate how she shared her love of Christ with all who met her. I enjoyed praying at meal times with the family or sitting in on bible verse reading. I remember a few nights we stayed up late playing monopoly at the dining table.
May all your pain be gone as you meet your Saviour. Thanks for all you did for me and so many others in your life. You were a blessing to us all.

Our memories of Alice conjure up images of a sweet and tender soul. Alice was very special to us, and we have fond memories of our time at Naperville Covenant. Alice touched us and was so very special to us. You are in our prayers and we grieve for you. God Bless you and keep you.

We are so sorry for your loss! Alice was a beautiful, kind, patient, thoughtful person! I never heard her complain, even though I know she had pain most of the time. We will miss her!

My deepest sympathy to the family. Our heavenly Father is a refuge and strength for us during our distresses as promised at Psalm 46:1. Erma L. Davis, Park Forest, IL.
