I knew Al and his brother Herb from the East 68th Street Steuben Church in Manhattan during the years 1942 thru 1954 after which we lost touch, when he moved to Illinois. He also had a sister, Ingeborg. I was an usher at his wedding at the above church when he married Pearl Fuchs, The church was of the Reformed Church of America denomination, and no longer exists as it was demolished to build an apartment building sometime between 1996 and 2010. Al was a jovial and well liked associate and I would assume remained as such throughout his life.. Sorry, of course, to discover his obituary as I put his name in Google hoping to possibly obtain his address.
