Alfred Hand Obituary
Alfred Hand III, 78, of Kutztown, PA, formerly of Elmhurst, IL died March 14, 2017 after a valiant fight with Parkinson's Disease.
Alfred was the devoted husband of Dorothy Ann (Stravino-Nagy) Hand with whom he shared 27 years of marriage. Alfred was a technically savvy, sincere, gentle, generous, and loving man who dedicated his life to his family, faith, and work. He was an active member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and retired following a 30+ year career as a Sr. Technician with the National Cash Register Company.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sister, Louise, wife of the late Samuel Im; daughters, Jean Hand (Michael) Ose and Judith Hand (Frank) Dobai; five step-children, Dr. Christopher (Nancy) Nagy, James (Donna) Nagy, Timothy (Mayela) Nagy, Martha Nagy and Abigail (Richard) Mirarchi; and four precious grandchildren, Jacqueline and Alexandra Ose and Matthew and Samuel Mirarchi.
Alfred will be sincerely missed by all who knew him, but remembered for his generous spirit.
Memorial donations may be sent to Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, 234 East Main Street, Kutztown, PA 19530.
