Albert Orr Obituary

Albert V. Orr Jr., age 69, of Glen Ellyn for over 30 years, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Albert was born May 27, 1939 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Orr served in the Air Force and was a field service engineer in manufacturing. He enjoyed RVing, fishing, model railroads, golfing, CB radios, NASCAR fan and was a die-hard Chicago sports fan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Elsbeth Orr; loving children Lt. Col. Marc (Leatha) of Heidelberg, Germany and Michael of Glen Ellyn and dear grandfather of Johnathan & Kenneth. Fond brother of Timothy of Fort Worth, TX, Judy (Bob) Dickson of Anaheim, CA, Kathy Orr of Anaheim, CA and Vickie Orr of Island Lake, IL. Visitation Friday, February 13, 2009 from 3-9pm at Leonard Memorial Home 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. 630-469-0032. Everyone meet Saturday, February 14th at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 480 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn for a 10:30 am funeral Mass with Father John Ouper officiating. Interment Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton. Memorials to American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Road, Suite 100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 appreciated. Funeral arrangements handled by Leonard Memorial Home, (630) 469-0032.

I was just searching for you once again... instead I found your dad's obituary. I am sorry that you lost your dad. I will pray that you are well.
I tried several years ago to find you and call you and write you without any success. I am hoping you get this message.

We are currently in Texas and heard through our daughter, Karen, of Al's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go to you all. Al was a great neighbor, and a wonderful and friendly man. We will miss him.
