Adelaide "Adele" Zimmerman (nee Bolger), born January 28, 1931, the oldest of four children passed away Friday, January 15th surrounded by her family. While studying at Loyola University for her Bachelors of Art degree in English, Adele met and married William once they both graduated. They lived in Chicago on Sedgwick until moving their growing family to West Chicago in 1957 into a small home on Elmwood. We have always been and will continue to be in awe of Adele and Bill for the example they set as parents of a large, loving familiy; active community members; and faithful Catholic Christians. Aunt Adel was an incredible woman -- I'll never forget her coming to our house driving the VW bus. She had gorgeous long hair that she wore in a complicated braid on top of her head. She laughed often and loudly. She was interesting and interested in everything. She could converse on just about any topic. She adored her kids, her grandkids & especially Uncle Bill.

She is surely in heaven now, holding court and laughing loudly with Uncle Mike, Bishop Roger, and all who have gone before.
