Aunt Arlene we're so sorry for your loss. Phil is so glad he was able to visit recently and was flattered when Rudy rose from his chair to shake his hand when he left. He was a good man. Our prayers are with you, Lynn, Lori, Lisa and the rest of the family. Love to you all!

On behalf of all the pilots at the Schaumburg Pilot's Association, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the Gasperich family. Rudy was a fixture at our meetings and was loved and respected by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Rudy, we'll miss you tremendously. May your final landing be a soft one.

Rudy leaves a legacy in Hampshire, Illinois in the Sky Soaring Glider Club where today roughly 100 pilots, student pilots and CAP cadets pursue the wonder of motor-less flight. One of the "Greatest Generation," Rudy was willing to share his love of aviation with the generations who follow him. Keep the green side down Rudy!

Arlene, I was saddened to hear of Rudy's passing, I knew that he was quite ill. I consider myself fortunate to have known the Gasperich family. If there is any consolation in any of this it's in the knowledge that Rudy had a long and fruitful life.

My condolences to you and to Lynn, Lisa, Lori, and to the rest of the Gasperich family.

Dear Aunt Arlene and girls, I'm so sorry to hear that Uncle Rudy has passed. Such a sad time for the whole family. It's like the end of an era. The last of the brothers and sisters. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. He will be missed, but he sure had a wonderful, full life. I'm sure there's a big party going on in heaven right now as the family is reunited in God's promised home. Love Iris, Jim, and family
