Now who am I going to have to argue with as to whether or not microwave ovens are useless and computers just "no good?" To say we're all going to miss Rich is such a gross understatement. So many memories packed into the forty-four years we've all been a "family" up at Ford lake. A whole lot of history will forever contect the Freeburg and Lange families. I'll forever miss your mom and I already dread the thought of going up North and not having your dad's smiling face there to greet me. My love is always with you.

Cyndi and Rich,

Your dad was a good friend and neighbor to myself and my family for over 55 years.

I spent many an evening talking with him about the old days in La Grange and the events of the day.

I will miss him very much. My sincere condolences to your families.

Dear Cyndi and Rich,

Your father loved you two as much as it is possible to love anyone. He was a wonderful man and will live on in my mind and heart forever as a wonderful man. As Brett said, "He is now with his forever love".

God Bless You Always,

I was saddened to learn of Rich's passing. Seeing him at Hollywood Motors was always a pleasant experience. He was a warm and friendly man. The world is a lesser place without his presence.

We loved our next-door neighbor very much. He always spoke so lovingly about his children and grandchildren. We always looked forward to his return from "up North". We will miss Rich greatly. Our prayers are with you.

Rich and Cyndi: Your Dad was such a fixture in LaGrange and will be missed by all. His was a great dedication to his policing duties, which I observed as a young boy growing up, sometimes on the receiving end. When I practiced law I saw his heart as well as his duty. At the bank, we benefited from his loyalty and responsibility. I got to witness his attention to his aunt (Violet?) and of course, to your Mom. What a great man!
