Christine Marie Warne July 24, 1944 - December 27, 2025 Christine Marie Warne, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 27 at her home in Ludington, Michigan.

Christine was the daughter of John and Lucille Warne. She dedicated her life to helping people, devoting her entire career to caring for those in their most vulnerable moments. Through her work providing safety, advocacy, and refuge to those facing crisis and hardship, she led with compassion and strength, offering dignity, hope, and protection to countless individuals until her retirement.

In retirement, Christine remained active in her community. She worked part-time at the Ludington Car Ferry, where she loved talking with people from all over the world making reservations, and she also served as Stage Manager for many theatrical performances through West Shore Community College, combining her love of people and the arts.

Christine lived a life marked by quiet strength, purpose, and grace. She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to others, her kindness, and the lasting impact she made on the lives she touched.

She is survived by her four children, Jane, Robert, Weston, and Thomas; seven of her eight grandchildren; her two sisters, Teresa Walsh and Suzanne Nitz; and many others who were touched by her compassion and care.

As Christine requested, the family will be holding a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to COVE in Ludington. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and care sent to Christine and to them during this time.
