Joann grew up in Southwestern Kansas and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1946. She married Glenn Headrick in 1947. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2015.
Joann is survived by two daughters, Julie Osterhout of Blanco, Texas and Jeanne Torres and husband Mark of Spring Branch, Texas. She has three granddaughters, one grandson, four great granddaughters, two great grandsons, and two great great granddaughters.
Joann was married to Glenn for 68 years and worked as a legal secretary and paralegal until her retirement. Joann and Glenn retired to Colorado where they enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, and square-dancing. They moved back to San Angelo in the 1990's and then relocated to Blanco to be near family. Glenn and Joann will rest together in San Angelo, Texas.
No formal services are planned except for a family graveside at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, Texas.
