John Briner Obituary

John "Jack" Briner

John "Jack" Briner passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 11, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born to Ralph and Luella (Sunderhaus) Briner on March 20, 1940, in Coldwater, Ohio. He attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a degree in Finance. He served our country as a Reservist in the United States Air force and was honorably discharged in 1968.

Jack was a humble man who touched countless lives with his gentle demeanor and genuine care for others. In 1962, Jack began his career with Lincoln National Life as a Financial Planner, where he met his bride, Jan, of 55 years. They were wed on May 6, 1967. Together they had three children that have loved and supported them throughout life's journey.

Jack was a true sports enthusiast, with a deep love for his teams proudly supporting Bowling Green State University, The Ohio State University, the Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Browns.

Jack lived by his convictions, and his faith was evident in the way he treated others with love, respect, and compassion. He was a true example of a man of God, and his faith guided him in all aspects of his life.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Jan; children, Carmen (Dan), Rick (Jen), Kevin (Sandy); grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Meredith, Luke, Morgan; siblings, Bob (Lila), Susan (Dave).
