I grew up in Katy (two years younger) than Ronald. My older sister, Janet, was a classmate of his. His father, Theodore, taught history and government for many years at Katy High School, In fact, he taught my older brother, who graduated in 1956, my older sister, 1964, and me, 1966. RIP Ron

Ron & Glenda were a delightful couple, with whom I worked as a contributor to his early newspaper. I wrote about recipes and food trends in the late 70's. His death brings sadness to all who enjoyed his laugh and hard work.

I knew Ron for many years from my banking career. He took pride with his publishing but often spoke of his family and his love of flying and hunting. I seem to recall he played a little football as well. Its been years since I had spoken with Ron but I am sad hearing of his passing. God bless his family and friends.
