Gerry was one of the nicest fireman (captain) . Always kind, great smile, and always a joy to deal him at Sandy City. So very sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to his wife and family.

I have found memories of Gerry. I got to know him as he served on the Sandy City Fire Dept. at the time I served on the City Council. He had such a fun and friendly personality. He once painted my '66 Ford Mustang, making it look brand new. I won't say anything about his expertise in setting off fire works on the Fourth of July, that's another story. My sincerest condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Gerry´s passing. Even today, every time I see a Sandy Fire Battalion Chief´s vehicle pass by, Gerry´s smiling face is what my mind sees. He was truly one of Sandy´s best respected firefighters and a good friend.
