Richard Graham Obituary

Richard Graham 84, of Newton, NC was born to the late Booker T. Graham,Sr.k and Viola Lewis Booker on July 18, 1941 in Rowan County passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2026 at Carolina Caring Hospice House.

He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and later enlisted in US Navy, he was last employed with Century Furniture Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Booker T. Graham, Sr., Viola L. Graham, brothers; Booker T. Graham Jr., Robert Lewis, and sister; Bernice I Thompson.

He is survived by his sons; Patrick Graham(Rhonkisha), Richer Archer, daughters; Ava Melissa Graham, Jasmine Archer, brothers; Floyd Boulware, Charles Graham both of Chester, SC, Ronald Graham, Gaffney,SC, Samuel L. Graham(Loretta), Jerry W. Graham, both of Salisbury,NC, sisters; Julia G. Ijames, Essie G.Ruffin, Anne G. Davis, all of Salisbury,NC Teresa G. Burrell, Concord,NC, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nephews,nieces, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday January 30, at 1:00 p.m. at Rowan Funeral Services Chapel, burial will follow at 2:30 p.m in Salisbury National Cemetery. Family will recieve friends 12:00-1:00p.m. Public viewing will be Thursday January 29, 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
