Tillie Zerger, 96, passed away January 18, 2026, at Pine Village, Moundridge, Kansas. She was born March 2, 1929, in Galva, Kansas, the daughter of Siegfried and Edna (Graber) Stucky.
Tillie was a graduate of Moundridge High School.
She married Eldon D. Zerger on August 3, 1948, at Eden Mennonite Church. They shared almost 69 years of marriage. Eldon passed away June 24, 2017.
Tillie loved being a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm. Tillie also worked as a nurse's aide at Pine Village. She was a lifetime member of Eden Mennonite Church where she was active in Dorcas and Mary Marthas groups. Tillie had a volunteer's heart and gave her time to Meals on Wheels, the Moundridge Senior Center, Mobility Worldwide Kansas, as well as the Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale.
Tillie is survived by her children, Chris Zerger of Salina, Greg (Jackie Marcoux) Zerger of Hutchinson, and Dick (Jill) Zerger of Moundridge; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Helen Reed of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon; a daughter, Peggy in infancy; two brothers, Merle Stucky, in infancy, and Marvin Stucky; sister, Mabel Goering; grandson, Matthew Graber; and her grandson Todd Blanton's wife, Amanda Blanton.
Visitation will be 3 to 7:30 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Moundridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at Eden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge. The service will be live streamed and can be watched at the following link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87378882716?pwd=mrd5qrLbjlAg0YGEsXlKkY31tycYk1.1. A private family burial will take place at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Eden Mennonite Church, Pine Village, or Mobility Worldwide Kansas and sent, in care of, Moundridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 410, Moundridge, KS. 67107.
