Teresa was born on March 14, 1947, in
Bridgeport, Nebraska, to John and Jeanette Biberos. She grew up alongside her siblings Buddy, Albert, Charlotte, Jenifer, Ramon, Anita, Juanita, Mario, and Arnie Biberos, sharing a childhood that helped shape her into the strong, loving woman she became. From the very beginning, she carried a strength that followed her through every season of life. She built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family values, and she became the kind of woman everyone depended on. She lived with a heart that was generous, nurturing, and full of grace.
Through family, she met Terry, the love of her life. From that moment on, the two were inseparable, spending 51 years side by side and celebrating 50 years of marriage. Their love was steady, loyal, and full of the kind of devotion people hope to find once in a lifetime. Together they created a home filled with warmth and built a family that became her greatest pride, including their five children: Rob, Randall, John, Sheena, and Kyle Bunner.
Throughout her life, Teresa was known for her hardworking spirit and her caring heart. She worked as a Nurse Aide/Medication Aide and later as a housekeeper at Golden Living Center and Sidney Regional Extended Care, dedicating her time to caring for others in the same way she cared for her own family. In a decision that speaks to who she truly was, she transitioned into housekeeping so she could be more present with her children, because being there for them meant more to her than anything else. She spent her life taking care of others, both at work and at home. She lived a life of service, always putting others first and always making sure the people she loved felt cared for.
Above all else, Teresa was a devoted mother. Her children were her pride and joy, and she loved them fiercely and endlessly. She poured her whole heart into raising them, always putting their needs before her own. Whether it was working hard to provide, showing up for every moment she could, or simply being the one they could always count on, Teresa made sure her children knew they were loved. She wasn't just their mom, she was their comfort, their protector, their biggest supporter, and the steady foundation of their lives.
As life went on, her heart only grew bigger. Being a grandmother became one of her greatest joys, and she loved her grandchildren with a love that cannot be measured. She truly cherished them and loved taking care of them. Loving them was not something she did only when she had time, it was who she was. She found purpose in caring for her grandkids, making sure they were okay, fed, safe, and loved. She did not just watch them grow; she helped shape who they became.
When her great-grandchildren came along, you could see her light up in a whole new way. She adored them. Her face softened, her smile got bigger, and her love seemed to multiply. She loved those babies deeply, and they brought her so much happiness. Those moments with her grandkids and great grandkids were some of the most precious parts of her life.
Teresa had a way of making her home a place you wanted to be. Whether it was the comfort of her presence, her routines, her stories, her laughter, or the love you could feel just walking through the door, she made everything feel like family. She taught her loved one's lessons that cannot be found in books: how to love unconditionally, how to stay strong through pain, how to show up for people, and how to take care of each other.
