With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Galarneau, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who departed this world on December 20, 2025, in
Houston, Texas. Born in
San Diego, California, Sharon radiated warmth and kindness from an early age, values she carried throughout her life. Sharon was a deeply cherished member of her family. She is survived by her son, Timothy Galarneau; her daughter, Tabitha Becker, and son-in-law, Charles Becker. The glow of her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Shannen Robbins, Zamora (Anakin) Becker, Reyna Randall, Orion Becker, and her great-grandchildren, Athena Cooper, Lilith Randall, and Kenneth Randall. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Debbie Kaucher and Connie Madore, who will forever remember her gentle spirit and loving heart. Affectionately known for her humor and generosity, Sharon had an extraordinary ability to lift those around her. She was a beacon of kindness who believed in the power of laughter-always ready with a good joke or smile to brighten someone else's day. Her compassionate nature made her a friend to many, as she cherished the connections she built throughout her life. Sharon's interests were as delightful as her personality. She adored music, especially The Beatles, enjoyed engaging in arts and crafts, and could often be found solving puzzles or talking to her many friends on Facebook. Her love for animals, especially her cat, Chloe. Regularly found watching and feeding the neighborhood birds and squirrels, which reflects her nurturing spirit. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends, forging bonds that will endure even in her absence. In honoring Sharon's memory, the family will hold a small private memorial at home, a gathering that reflects the intimate love she fostered throughout her life. Those who knew her are encouraged to carry forward her legacy of kindness and love, remembering the light she brought into their lives. Though she may no longer walk among us, Sharon Galarneau will be forever cherished and remembered in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. Her spirit will continue to live on through the love she gave so freely and the joy she inspired in others.
