Mr. Richard Lee Grice, age 66, of Wallace, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 17, 2025, at the McLeod Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. In honoring Richards wishes, there will be no public services. 

Mr. Grice was born on December 4, 1958 in Dillon, SC to the late Reverend R.P. Grice and Julia M. Grice. He was a graduate of Cheraw High School, class of 1978. Richard was personable and enjoyed conversation with others which at times involved a good debate. Mr. Grice was a man of many skills and devoted much time to working with his hands. He was a truck driver by trade. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Grice was preceded in death by his wife, Tammi White Grice; sister, Angela “Angi” Carlson; niece, Ashley Jackson; nephews, Christopher Hobbs, and Patrick Grice.

Survivors include his children, Amber Grice and Bradley (Crystal) Grice; brothers, Lafon (Cheryl) Grice, Pastor Joe (Denise) Grice, sisters, June (George) Pearre, Charlotte (Keith) Jackson; grandchildren, Tyler Lemmons, Sara Grice, and Noah Olmo.
