I'm sorry, Derek, Chris, and Melodye that this is so late, but I just found out, by accident, that my good friend since first grade, had passed away. I remember walking from school to her home for lunch with her several times. After high school, we lost touch for a few years and then ended up living with our backyards connecting. After the family moved to S. C. we lost touch for several more years. In the early 2000s, she and Ken, who I was in school with, also, along with two other couples, got together for dinner in Greensboro. And, we stayed in touch from then until she moved from her home. I did talk with her once after she. moved, but I'm not sure she knew who I was. She just wasn't her fun self. Then I lost her number. But, I just wanted you to know that we are remembering you as you grieve for your loss. She loved all of you and would often mention each of you in conversation. Thanks for indulging me in only a few of my memories. I miss our long conversations of being "silly", but having fun.
